Long String Measure

First the Yellow Chalk Line to be used as a long line to run the full length of the green to check if the bowl or jack is in or out of bounds. But you will need to replace the supplied line with 41m of whipping twine. If you then replace the end pointer with a Drakes Pride measuring pointers on the end it becomes a long line measurer also.

Care must be taken to ensure that you don’t get knots in the line, because this will affect the measuring function. Always rewind the twine under, say finger pressure, to avoid jams next time you run out the line.

This Chalk Line has a 6:1 rewind (my latest)

It should show you Marlow Whipping Twine, choose the No 4 gauge. It's 41m. in length, 

No.4 (Medium)  - 0.8mm. Choose colour, clearly not green. I use orange or white.

Use this huge link (5 Star plastic erasers. Cut in into three at approx 30 degrees. You then have 30 wedges, £2.50. Don’t bother with the black wedges.)
